Living Ritual Theater
Living Ritual Theater™ facilitates ceremonial stories. We use theatrical elements, storytelling, songs, poetry and ceremony to inspire the viewer to greater levels of understanding and awareness of specific topics or themes. We offer messages of hope, so people can return to their lives feeling inspired and connected to a like-minded community. We also offer a collaboration to create private ceremonies for individuals and groups to celebrate anniversaries, important achievements, affirmations and more.
What is a Ceremonial Story
Imagine people in an audience holding big, tall flowers as performers dressed as bees buzz around sipping from the blossoms. They do little dances when they return to the hive as bees will do. All this happens as a story is told about the mystical world of bees. This is a ceremonial story. The stories we tell will be ones that may be told as a poem or an art installation or through shadow puppets. They may occur around a campfire, in the woods or on a beach. Our stories are not something you simply sit and listen to but are adventures we take you along on.
The Adventure
Ceremonial Stories have the power to transport and transform the mundane into the sacred. The essence of storytelling is ceremony. Each ceremonial story we perform is meant to uplift, bring together community and offer lasting hope. We also offer collaborations to nonprofits and individuals. We will be training others to apply our creative process to projects you may want to bring into being.
